Hello, to the nice people of Georgia.
I just discovered that I like a lot of people from Georgia. I am considering findng a place to live in GA. Which areas are the more technologically advanced and have a more educated population?

By far those areas would be metro Atlanta. The counties with highest educated people are most likely: Cobb, Fulton (North), Gwinnett and DeKalb. Plenty of tech jobs in most of those areas, too.

The areas around Cumberland Mall and Paces Ferry (Cobb), Alpharetta (Fulton), and Peachtree Corners (Gwinnett) are probably the biggest for technology.

Don't kid yourself. To answer your questions technology in Georgia is non-existent. Educated people are a myth.

OK...I have to ask...so according to you, people with an education are just getting paid more, but don't deserve it, and educated people have no common sense. Did I get that correct?
If you honestly believe that, fine. People who get an education work hard and sacrifice to better their lives. Knowledge is power and with that power comes money. I'm assuming you chose a different path, and that was certainly your choice to make. However, rationalizing your bad decision by knocking people who made better choices just shows more about you. Sorry you're bitter.
Here's some constructive advice...go back to school and get an education.

Actually you may need the advice more than me as far as schooling goes.
I have a masters from MIT and see very few up and coming college grads working HARD and SACRIFICING ANYTHING.
You got it backwards...With MONEY comes POWER AND KNOWLEDGE.
I can tell you after many years in electrical engineering that it takes a lot more sacrifice than you could possibly endure.
Join the other stay at home moms like most do after graduation once they find out what it is really like in the corporate dog eat dog world. (or blow most of the day worrying about where to eat lunch or play golf)
No hard feelings and good luck to you

I must say you are in need of a mental bowel movement O.K.
You actually revealed more about yourself than you intended to. From your post you need to utilize your own advice.
You assumed the poster was not educated. I will not spend much time expounding on that because you let your boxed mentality speak for itself.
Not all educated individuals have the luxury of having common sense + the education. Not all educated people work hard. To inform you, there are plenty of educated well rounded individuals that did not and do not have to attend college to be considered educated.
I suggest you to explore, get out more, research then post instead of making a mockery of yourself.
To the OP question... I would also try to get that information from some sort of factual database such as www.census.gov (if available) Do a search for Georgia government. If there is no info there, there may be some link to lead you in that direction.
Also, try www.metroatlantachamber.com Hope this helps
