Smile Need Info On Brunswick, Ga.

I am retiring from Gwinnett County in a few years. Always dreamed about retiring to St. Simons however reality has reared it's ugly head. We are now thinking of purchasing a residential lot or pre owned home in the Brunswick-Glynn county area. We will make this purchase within the next two years. I would like to hear from Glynn residents about what you think of Brunswick,as well as areas to look for and areas to avoid. Also, any info on high schools. And if you are looking to relocate to Gwinnett County and surrounding cities, I can tell you most everything you need to know gleaned from 20+ years as a Fireman and Law Enforcement Officer.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
