Default so what did you think about the amendments on the ballot?

i had no idea about the school tax amendment until i got into the booth today. i listen to local talk radio everyday, and have heard them talk about the forest land tax exemptions, but never this school tax amendment. anyhow, i voted no. i don't think tax money for schools should be spent redeveloping the community they are in. if the people in that town want to do some redevelopment, create your own splost package and let the voters decide. it read as though it were just a way to sneak money out the schools.

i voted against the tax breaks for land preservation. any property taxes lost have to be made up somewhere. we actually own hundreds of acres, many in forest land.

the only one i voted yes for was infrastructure development in under-served areas of georgia. i think that's pretty important for our entire state.
