Ludowici info needed (fit in, construction, gated)

If anyone has info on the Ludowici town/area,(construction work/carpet/flooring/roofing etc.)
or any general info about the area, I would be very thankful.

It's a nice area, but HOT and HUMID in the summer. It's also a small town where most residents can trace their local ancestry back for several generations, and can reel off a long list of who they're "kin to" in the area. You and your children will be considered "the new people" for the rest of your lives. Your grandchildren might have a chance to fit in.

At one time, the town was a notorious speed trap. There was even a song written about it.

It is the most CORRUPT town I have ever lived in. A place where you can let your child drive around at the age of 12 full of other kids in the truck, then your 12 year old kills herself and another little 8 year old, and NOTHING happens to you!!! Great place to live huh.......NO!!!!!!!!!!! Unless your last name is Mcgowan, I would live somewhere else!!!!!!!

ludowici... hmm how many times has that place been investigated and convicted on just about all counts of fraud and whatever else. half the state laws we have now are because ludowici abused something in the past

Yep.. Ludowici had perhaps the most infamous speed trap in the country back in the 70s and a laundry list of other corruption. Haven't heard much out of it lately; maybe it has changed for the better.

Worst town I have ever been to. I think it is long county which is the poorest county in Georgia.
