can you please tell me what the taxes are
sales, income....
Do they require car and/or medical insurance?

Sales tax tends to be around 6%, although some places are more or less. It will depend on the city you're in (many cities will add a 1/2% or 1% sales tax). This FAQ might help, and this website.

Income tax varies by income. See this web site for more information.

Yes, auto insurance is required, but not medical insurance. Massachusetts is the only state to my knowledge that "requires" health insurance.

Under Georgia law, you’re required to have car insurance liability limits of at least 25/50/25.

$25,000 per person, for bodily injury you cause
$50,000 per accident, for bodily injury, and
$25,000 per accident, for damage to another’s property, usually their car.
