it is statistically proven called the STRAIN theory, lack of education=low/no paying jobs=criminal activity. There are tons of statistics backing this up. You can thank your liberal voters for the illegal immigrants in this country, and now there is no turning back, its only going to get worse.

my advice to anyone moving to the north georgia area is to stay west of GA Hwy. 515/ Interstate 575. it is a direct pipeline to most of north central georgia and poor towns like ellijay, jasper, and blue ridge have had to suffer. you cant go anywhere in these once quiet mountain towns without seeing the overabundance of chain shopping centers/restaurants and city folk in their huge overpriced SUV's taking up the whole da** road. too many ATL folks moving up there trying to "live" the country life. we here in the western part of north GA (anything north of cartersville/west of 515/575) still have the benefit of enjoying the country life without the hassles of dealing with city folk. yes the immigrant population is high in this part of the state, but these folks are for the most part just as hardworking as the rest of us. sure the cultural/language differences may hinder you occasionally, but overall we still get things done 'round here. as for dalton itself, its gotten a little too big for my taste. we here just over the river consider it the ATL of NW GA, too many ppl with the wrong attitudes
