Default Moving to Eatonton how are the schools?

My family and I are planning on relocating to Eatonton Ga., but I don't know much about the schools there. I have a 5th and 6th grader. Also I have worked in the dental field for 10 years and would like to work closer than Gwinnett. Any information would be very helpful and appreciated!

HI,
My husband worked in Eatonton but we lived off of 212 in Millegeville, it is app. half way in between.
We found no homes in Eatonton we liked so we built 10 miles from his work in Eatonton, which he was able to come home for lunch each day. The Subdivision was called The Oaks at Willow Lake on Lowe Road NW, our neighbors had school age kids--2 went to the MILITARY SCHOOL and the other 2 went to the public schools nearby.
Eatonton is very small, few restaurants, or shopping.
Milledgeville is a college town, which I would not want to live in or around the city limits but on the outskirts is a small mall, good restaurants, and a beatiful lake for boating, fishing, or camping.
Hope this is helpful.
Good Luck

Hello. I am looking to relocate to Eatonton. I am a single professional with 3 school age children. Would like to know a little more about what makes it a liveable town. Thanks.
