Default Lawrenceville,Gainesville or Athens?

Hello, I am new to the area. I am relocating to the area and will be working in Pendergrass. I want a commute time of 30 minuets or less. Also I want to live in an area that has things to do, such as parks, good schools, a round of golf now and then, good places to eat out,etc.... Also an area without heavy traffic.
After spending a week in the Pendergrass area I have narrowed it down to 3 Loations,Lawrenceville,Gainesville,Athens. For those of you that are familiar with these locations, what area would you prefer and why.

Thank you in advance for your input

I'd say Athens. Gainesville has turned into little Mexico in the past few years and the businesses down there reflect it.

I live just outside Jefferson right off 129 on 10 acres...easy commute to your work place, new Kroger and Publics minutes away, easy to get to Gainesville and Athens for other shoping and entertainment as needed. We have a few eateries, but Athens is close and they have tons of non-chain eateries. You'll get more bang for your buck by staying out of Gainesville and Athens as far as housing is concerned.

BTW Lawrenceville is way too far away for a 30 min commute.

I would definately choose Athens... you should be able to commute to pendergrass in 30 mins..
Gainesville will be closer, but you would need to learn spansih before moving there. Lawrenceville is a lot of suburban sprawl... and part of metro Atlanta. Athens has a lot to do. It would be my choice, but you want to check on what the commuting times would be like first.
