that was about 6 weeks ago.
they didn't come.
a lot of church groups were protesting outside the place, calling local radio stations, flooding the mayor of valdosta's office with calls (although this was in remerton, not valdosta ??? ).
the bar owner just called the whole thing off.
the bus was only supposed to park out front and pass out some t-shirts, just for publicity, and then move along to atlanta. the owner received a lot of angry calls, and people saying they would be waiting out front to stop the bus when it rolled up.
oh well.
