I am planning a trip to GA from my home state of North Dakota to see relatives and friends. We want to visit Callaway Gardens, which I hear is really beautiful in the spring. I want to come to GA on the peak weekend for Dogwoods, flowers, a fresh new green on the trees and azaleas.

I called my relatives and they had no advice and when I called Callaway Gardens they gave me the non answer that it is always pretty there.

Coming from North Dakota where the trees are bare 8 months of the year, we are searching for fresh spring greenery. Can you help? (please no non answers like we got from the people at Callaway Gardens!)

Go between March 28 and April 19. That is the Spring Festival at Callaway. The azalea's are blooming. Callaway Gardens is absolutely beautiful!
