Default Commute between Rome, GA and Canton, GA
We are thinking about relocating to NW GA. My husband will be working just west of Rome. We need to live in either Cartersville or west of Canton due to the kid's activities. How is the commute from either town? Any recommendations on schools in these areas? We need middle and high school - I understand that Woodland is good. Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The commute won't be bad traffic-wise, but it'll be fairly lengthy, since there's not really a direct route between those points. Of the two, Cartersville would obviously be the better choice, as it's closer to your final destination.

I agree with the above poster. I happen to like Cartersville much better than Canton but a lot of people seem to dislike Bartow county so make sure you check out both.
