conservative doesn't mean "close-minded" and racist. Nor does liberal mean more open-minded and non-racist.
i'm not sure where you got the idea that small towns are cut off from the rest of the world, but its not true at all.

Many towns in south GA are majority black, so I don't see why a black person should worry about moving there.
