I agree. I don't think I even had allergies before I moved to Georgia.

I know all about allergies. I have lived in Georgia since age 8 and I am still not used to the pollen in Georgia. One summer I went to Dallas,TX and I didn't have problems with allergies(or humidity for that matter). I went back to Georgia a week later and deja vu with the allergies. I have been sneezing all day.

My development of allergies living here in GA is the reason I'm leaving.

They have gotten worse over the years to the point that I'm allergic to EVERYTHING.

My doc sez once I'm out of the zone and into a cooler dryer climate they will improve.

Sooooo anyone wanna buy a small farm in NE GA

Same here, but I really don't want to leave Atlanta. I suspect that if I did, I'd just develop new allergies in the next location. So far, I'm coping.

Let's post the daily pollen count here for "misery loves company" entertainment.

THURSDAY, March 22, 2007

ATLANTA -- Today's count is 2,597. That is in the extremely high range.
The major pollen present is oak, birch, sweet gum, sycamore, birch and willow.

Having just moved here from South Florida, I don't think it's bothering me YET
I am more used to dust and mold type of allergies. I would sneeze like 15 times, and then without fail it would go into a full blown sinus infection.

I know it's gross but I do irrigate my sinuses on a regular basis with salt water and it does help!
