DUDE, we're comparing states, but you can also look at what is in the vicinity of a state when doing this. I was just stating the fact that there are more beaches in that are closer to major population centers in NC than in GA.
stop with the name calling, just say you disagree and move on.

I swear I are you people retarded? You can drive to Myrtle beach ya know.
Just like in the New Jersey, you can drive to NYC. You MUST all be educated in GA.
If you live in jersey in certain parts, you could say you "have" NYC, you can take the train between the two.

I'm not seeing a whole lot of southern hospitality in your posts. I bet he's liking NC even more now

If that's the case, GA is closer to the numerous beaches in FL.

As someone who has a member of the family that is mentally challenged, that remark really ticks me off. You should be ashamed of yourself.

You're right, I should have said "stupid". I don't like to call anybody names in general but when someone calls me a troll for expressing my opinion that really ticks ME off.

Well, when you come on the Georgia forum and say that the people are less intellegent in Georgia, you kinda ask for that. Back to the OP. I like both states alot, but prefer Georgia. I live in the Northwest part of the state in the ridge and valley area. The people here are extremely friendly and there is a good sense of community. I am ten minutes from a lake, 15 minutes from good hiking, have three rivers, 4 colleges, 3 major hospitals, the second widest main street in Georgia, the largest intact victorian district in the state, good bike trails, great weather, thriving downtown, am 60 minutes from either Chattanooga or Atlanta, and the best school system in the state in '08. I'm not really bitchin'.
P.S.- The Allman Brothers came outta GA!

cheers you that. Realize a lot of us bitters are in Atlanta. If I wasn't single I'd be outta this hellhole in a heartbeat and owning a real piece of property and enjoying the real southern life.

I'm willing to bet "blondandfun" is just making up excuses for her labeling myrtle beach as NC. Anybody who is so intelligent would have pointed out that myrtle beach is a nice spot that is a short drive from NC BEFORE BEING CALLED OUT ON IT instead of simply saying "they have myrtle beach" if the main question is "NC Vs. GA"
If thats the case, then GA has Hilton Head. Just think about the logic being used. Thats just like making a blanket statement that GA has Jacksonville, Hilton Head, and Chattanooga

What does "being single" have to do with not being able to buy property and enjoy life???
