My cousin was mugged ten years or so ago at Lenox. Nobody helped her. This is the bad thing about the big cities- even Atlanta. Nobody cares so much about each other.
Stay away from:
Gwinnett Place Mall
Greenbriar Mall
Southlake Mall.
The mall of today is hurting. They are largely an obsolete concept in today's age but given the proper location and traffic they are still viable.

kturnerga - I am truly sorry that your cousin was mugged at Lenox ten years ago. I am also saddened to hear that nobody helped her, which is very rare if people were in the immediate area. Sadly though, this can and does happen just about anywhere now.
That being said, to portray Lenox as a halfway decent mall is a gross misrepresentation. Lenox is one of the nations nicest and most thriving malls, and continues to update and grow. Several hundred thousand people a week shop, dine, work in the office tower and stay at the J.W. Marriott hotel - all within Lenox Square.
Lenox Square is the undisputed retail hub of the Southeast, and is way more than halfway decent.
