I must have missed my invite...
What I find exceedingly strange...Why this need to booster a city and tear down another? We see it a lot in the Augusta Forum. People live in a city for a reason: job, family, recreation. Not the size of the Mall or how many lanes of highway go through it or that a Drury Inn opened up...
If the bickering back and forth could be used to boost all vs. tearing down...

LOL! Thanks, Bulldawgfan.
It was pretty tiring, but fun.
I don't think I've ever experienced anything quite like this though.......

Oh, and thanks to John for the free steaks and motonenterprises for the free beer. I had a blast. For next months meeting I will get some shrimp and some oysters. How about if I get a keg this time... being as that we ran out so quick last night (I never knew our club had so many members.... ).

Augustabuckeye,
Its all in fun. I do not, nor have ever, 'hated' a place. If you look hard enough you will find good anywhere... even in Macon. To the best of my knowledge I have never just come out and blasted Macon. I have debunked others in their... ah... er... vision.
I have had the good fortune to travel a lot in my life and have been to many many cities and towns (I am trying to show case my travels in the picture forum). I, unlike some others, have the ability to see through the trees and actually spot the forest. Its not that hard, if you open your eyes. There are some, though, that only look and do not see. I cannot help them... I have tried.

My mouth will never be two (to, too... perhaps you may one day get it wright) full to tell it like it is. Reality. Negative is how you blindly see it. Anyone without blind devotion sees your town as it is. A wreck.

Macon is NOT a wreck and never will be.....If the reasons you stated makes Macon to be a wreck, then that label goes along with just about every city in the USA ......And for all the people who voted Macon Mall will be the first to close, I hate to spoil your fun and wishes, BUT IT NOT.....No time soon..... Bulldawgfan, I realize that Macon is not the best city on earth but you act as if Macon have, has or never will positive growth and anyone with real common sense knows.....you just don't want to admit it because it contradict your negative statements.....
Bulldawgfan, JohnATL and the rest of the Macon haters can all hold your breath until it does, but keep in mind you are going to be holding it for very along time...

To me yall sound like Georgia Hater keep bashing each others city. I've lived in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina , and Virginia. My favorite is Georgia. People here aren't to bussy to show courtesy, to hold a door open, to say hi and hold a conversation. I've visited most of the citys in the Forum except columbus i will one day. I could've chose a big city college somewhere in Atlanta but i choose Fort Valley cause the hospitality here. Overall Georgia is a Great state

MCG is not the only medical college in the state.. it is the only public (state) medical college in the state. Emory has a very well respected medical school(one of the top 10 in the nation).. then Morehouse also has a medical school as does Mercer in Macon.... those are all private schools though.
