Macon Mall looks nice. I like the fountain. Unfortunate what's happening to it.

Don't worry. Obama will fix everything. He'll pay to keep Macon Mall open.

Macon will became a huge Hotspot in GA.... comment on that
It would be nice to think this is the case, but sadly it won't be.

You need to accept the fact that the Macon Mall will never recover from the loss of so many mainline retailers. It is just a matter of time before they either close it down, tear it down or just let it rot.

I hope for Macon's sake the last option I mentioned doesn't take place.

I have stated time and time again that I do NOT hate Macon. We are attempting to give you a reality check.

I live in reality everyday so there is no need to check it, and the Macon Mall will recover as the Augusta mall and others have done.

Just keep telling yourself that.

How about we check back this time next year for a reality jolt.

I can promise you the Mall will be a very different place then.

^Yes, at the new Super WalMart/low-end surrounding strip mall (if it's even under construction by then).

It would probaly take at least 6 months to demolish and regrade the property.
