Maybe tearing down a wing at the mall and adding an Ikea would be great and theater would be nice......

I agree with about Augusta above.

All those chains probably will soon be in all the 2nd tier cities. But why did the store's pick to locate in Augusta before the other 2nd tier cities. Just like they chosed to come to Atlanta before Augusta.

Jobs in Augusta. Medical district, downtown, chemical row?

North Macon vs West Augusta. Is North Macon median income over $70,000 like West Augusta. Will North Macon even beat out some of our suburbs Evans, Martinez, Aiken, North Augusta. They all have new high end developments which will include alot retail and dining.

Compare what in Macon to Augusta. Why would you want to compare hospitals or medical jobs. Out of all things. The sugar plant fire in Savannah. People flew to Augusta. Travis Barker from blink 182. Plane crashes outside Columbia, SC. Flew him to Augusta.

LOL! Second largest Medical Center in Georgia according to who?

And I'm sorry, but I would like to see where you are getting the HH income figure for North Macon. This sounds like more of your unbridled boosterism.

Do honestly think that Macon and Augusta are peers in any way?

Augusta has several cardiac center. Lets compare the growth of Macon to Augusta. We can start off with new retail/restaurants that has come to the cities in the last 2-3 year's. Augusta got Imax, PF Changs, Mcalisters Deli, Jared the jewlery, Apple, Buckle, Chop house, Aerie, Hollister, Sephora, Five guys burger, Aldo, Earthare etc.

Don't play stuck not suck on stupd now (that-my added word) the info is staring you in the face. Not in face. Poor grammar.

Newtownmacon what happen I was taking up for macon. I said it could turn around like Augusta mall. When people were saying things like it could be a homeless shelter.
