Don't worry, yerocal.
After they tear the mall down next year, maybe you'll finally get your tax-subsidized Dave & Busters.
I predict it will be such a HUGE success, it will cause the State to move the Capitol to Macon. That will cause Macon to boom to a level that Governor Purdue will declare Atlanta to be no longer needed. Metro Atlanta will then be torn down, and all residents, businesses, the Airport, etc. will be demolished and rebuilt in Macon - on a MUCH grander scale, of course.
Middle Georgia will top out at about 10 million, passing Chicagoland.
Perhaps then - and only then, will yerocal be happy and spare us the endless threads with useless links.
One can always dream.

I don't live in the city limits myself, but its definetly urban. No need to expand city limits when we already have more than cities like Macon that claim to be bigger, but are actually lots smaller.

Well let me enlighten you with some info i see you lack, the only thing that Greenville has that out shine Ga 2nd tier cities on is CSA pop and couple of high retail which they will soon have.....Also you need to go to the US census and pull up Macon and Augusta Urbanize pop it not too far behind Greenville..... Although Macon's MSA and CSA is smaller than Greenville....Macon Serves as a Economic Hub for the Entire Middle Ga area which is composed of 22 counties with a pop over 700,000.. I don't live the Macon city limits either and it sure is more urban than you might think.

Macon (pronounced /ˈmeɪkən/) is a city located in central Georgia, USA. It is among the largest metropolitan areas in Georgia, and the county seat of Bibb County. A small portion of the city extends into Jones County. It lies near the geographic center of Georgia, approximately 85 miles (136 km) south of Atlanta, hence the city's nickname as the Heart of Georgia. As of the 2000 census, Macon had a population of 97,606; [3] as of 2007, the Macon, GA Metropolitan Statistical Area had an estimated population of 229,846 and the Macon-Warner Robins-Fort Valley Combined Statistical Area had an estimated population of 386,534. [4] In terms of population Macon is the ninth-largest city (just after Sandy Springs), fifth largest Metropolitan Statistical Area, and third-largest Combined Statistical Area in Georgia, behind Atlanta and Augusta. Macon-Warner Robins-Fort Valley, GA Combined Statistical Area (CSA) includes 13 Georgia counties.
Is this good enough? Sounds pretty small to me. The whole csa is less populated than just Greenville County alone!

You..... let me find the words.... are.... the man. It is you that has the abundance of patience. By this time (in this thread), I would have given up and conceded that Macon is the center of the universe. Hats off to ya.
