I've been all over in Ga, and hands down would say Augusta area. It's the second largest and most progressive area outside of ATL.

I wouldn't say that, the only thing that Augusta over the rest is a little more of a population; But to be label it the most progressive area outside of Atlanta is Sooooooooo Funny..................and also "NOT TURE"

In terms of new construction. Metro Augusta has the most going on outside of Atlanta.

And population is a big reason why. Store's and restaurants like Stonecrest steakhouse, Sephora, PF Changs, Chop House, Apple, Williams-Sonoma, Buckle, Walking Company, and Jared Galleria of jewelry.

In GA are only located in metro Atlanta and Augusta

The latest census shows metro Augusta gained 6,000 from 2007-2008 to Macon's metro 900. Anybody who has been in both cities lately. Can see Augusta is outpacing Macon.

I visited Macon in March. The construction is not comparable to Augusta. Doesn't make one city better than the other.

Oh yes they can. Atlanta is a world-class city and Savannah..... is just a city when compared to Atlanta and similar cities.

Savannah has pretty much little to no elements of a international city. First off, not many jobs are being created. Second, there is no mass-transit. Third, not a really major airport in the vicinity. Fourth, not enough recreation and so on. Atlanta has pretty much all of those elements.
