You know, these realtors are confusing me. They all want you to consider THEIR area. What do you guys know about comparing Canton to busier areas like Alpharetta Cumming or Suwanee?

I've heard comments like "stuck out there in Canton" with nothing to do???? Are they right, or just pushing their area?

P.S. Hubby goes to Vinings, but can go off-hours, and not everyday. Also need to go to airport some.

Considering that they are practically side by side, I would compare them very similar. Canton and Kennesaw? They are like 15 miles apart. You may cross a county line, but besides that... Jesus. Your in north Atlanta... it all basically looks the same. You would probably shop at the same mall, eat at the same places, drive through the same traffic.

Default Canton vs Roswell, Alpharetta or Suwanee

Hey people, please shoot me some comparisons of living in quiet Canton vs. Roswell, Alpharetta, or Suwanee! I think realtors are pushing what they are familiar with, and I'm getting major confused. Any info helpful. Thanks.

Hey, thanks for reply. I was thinking of looking at Governor's TownClub. Any info?

Just wondering about advantage of locating near the two universities. Canton would be quite a haul to KSU or Polytech, and Alpharetta, etc., would be even farther. I guess Marietta is an option.

I guess that depends on your definition of "quite a haul"- depending on where in Canton you're looking, KSU is only +/- 15 miles, and SPSU around 20- neither of those is a distance that I'd consider to be horrible, especially if it meant having the house I wanted in a great town.

Hi, thank you for your reply. You sure seem knowledgeable on the area. The house we are looking at is half-way to Cumming, which is a positive thing, except it adds 15 miles to the trip to KSU, and my son is partially disabled, so worried about him having a life outside of school. But, I SURE love the house.

Any info on Governor's Town Club in Kennesaw? Thanks!
