And have you ever lived elsewhere? Do you feel the pay scale is average around this area of GA?

We have lived in Upstate NY, Ohio, Fla & now Ga & are relocating to N.Carolina or back to Ohio when we sell our house here. The summers are HOT but then again it is Ga. We are pretty rural but Alma is even more so and in fact the only thing I've heard about there is a golf course my husband went to. It was okay, not great. You might want to check out this website for some info: http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/n....jsp?id=h-2288
A bit of trivia is that 'The community name derives from the first letter of the four Georgia capitals: Augusta, Louisville, Milledgeville and Atlanta.'
General Coffee State Park is suppose to be near Alma, & Laura Walker State Park is in Waycross. Why are you interested in Alma?

Forgot that part, sorry. The pay scale is probably about the same in any rural area of Ga you go to.

I just know that the real-estate is very affordable for me, but I guess it probably gets reflected in the pay scale???? I found a 5br/3bath 2001 double wide on 2.22 acres for only $49,900. I'd love to jump on it, but will I be getting paid half what I make here- so really there is no savings in the end. This whole moving thing confuses me if I don't know how much I would make.
