Very rural area that has been hit hard by the economy. In fact many rural towns like Hazlehurst and counties like Jeff Davis county have been struggling much longer than the current economic crisis. Many industries started closing up years ago as everything started going global. Jeff Davis county has lost just about all industry.
You should be able to get an incredible deal on some land to build a home or an existing home.
