Exclamation Stop

I am calling for everyone in Macon, and both Warner Robins to stop the bickering, yes I have had a part in it, and im very disappointed in myself. After someone told me Macon, and Warner Robins are two peas in a pod, that got to me. I would say that I have had a major part in it, but its just when I joined this site, the bad talk about Macon, was sad, and as a proud citizen of Macon, I reacted without thinking. I understand Macon has it flaws, drugs, crime, and our Mayor has been the main topic of discussion, but what city doesnt have drugs, and doesnt have crime. As far as our Mayor there is no hope, and I wish no city has to go threw what Macon does with its Mayor. We on this site are bickering while leaders from both cities are thinking of consolidation. I know citizens of Warner Robins are thinking no, but its the best for both of the cities. WR citizens may think Macon will make them look bad. Others of you are thinking why should I listen to someone who's a main part of the problem. Well I dont know what to tell you, but I know there are people out there who feel the same as I do, that its follishness, tiring, and stupid. I am very commitied to this site, and hope to see it continue to thrive, but it wont if you have people like ME who are ruining the excitement of helping people relocate, build, and get help on city , county matters. It also makes both cities look bad, and we all know that both cities are great cities. I understand there's people who think this may sound stupid but c'mon enough is enough, there are great people with great points that I have meet on this site like, GP2, Pickleswanson, Femina Dulcis, Mattattack, Pinkmartini, PGFKAP, and Hyun-Soo, sorry if I left anyone off, that can all be of great help to anyone looking to relocate to Warner Robins, or Macon, or if you just want information these people are very wise of both towns, and what they offer. Now yes there will be some people who continue to bicker, hopefully not, but I wont be one of them, and I hope you wont be either.

midgeorgiaman is on a distinguished road
Default Both cities need to work together

I have lived in Warner Robins and now I live in Macon. The cities are part of the same consolidated metro area according to the census and both rely on the other. Many people in Macon work at Robins or for the defense contractors in WR and many people in Warner Robins come to Macon for work, shopping, etc. The communities are different, but are invariably linked as well. I wish the two would work together to improve all of Middle Georgia instead of fighting with one another. New jobs coming to Bibb or Houston counties improve the whole area and if anyone thinks that businesses looking to relocate or build a new facility do not look at data from the region as a whole instead of just the immediate county, they are mistaken. This goes for Monroe, Jones, and Peach counties as well.

We are all in this together to grow as a region and the more that the localities work together, the better the standard of living we all will have.
