Hiawasse, Ga (Alpharetta: property taxes, living in, cost of)

Presently living in Michigan. We have a daughter that lives in Alpharetta and we think that we would like to move closer.

An area that we have heard about and may be interested in is Hiawasse.

Things that we consider important in such a move are.

1. Affordable Housing
2. Property Taxes
3. Cost of Living
4. Hospitals / Medical care
5. Shopping
6. Recreation - Golf
7. Year round climate - seasonal changes are desireable
8. Lack of traffic and conjestion

Hiawasse is a gorgeous area! I am not so certain on the medical care in that area, but I am sure there are some smaller hospitals around there. You will not get the same medical services as you would in a bigger city of course, but there are doctors and a hospital near there. Housing is reasonable, although from my understanding has gone up the past several years as it has become a very desireable area to live in. Shopping will be about an hour and a half away or so! There are several nice golf courses in the area! Good Luck with the looking!
