relax...
No se preocupa de racismo aqui. Hay mucho diversificacion aqui. Hay debastante de growth aqui. It all depends on where you want to be. Subdivisions being built from left to right where he can go ina nd bid for the work. I don't like Mcdonough because it's a bit out there. You might as well move to Lagrange, Covington or Fairburn if you want to live in a growing out of the way town. I will say coming from Miami to a place like any of those is going to be a challenge if you aren't used to it or have some familiarity to country towns. Let me know how I could help. Nos bemos entonce.

I have place an opinon on this thread because I feel that if you are reccommended to go somewhere other than McDonough you may not have as much work as you like in your business. Not that there would be a shortage of work in that business any time soon anywhere in the Metro ATL area. McDonough and Henry County is just country enough that your family should not have a hard time finding a place that such equipment would be hard to store and is big city enough that a large majority of the new jobs in the metro area are coming from Henry County. It is one of the fastest growing counties in the nation with no signs of slowing down. One of largest malls in GA is being built there on HWY 20 and I-75, the population as it stands today is majority white; however, this is quickly changing into one of the metro's most diverse areas. Having many latins in my family living there I can assure you that you will be very welcome in the area by most everyone there. This is also a good central location for your business to pick up as much work as you can possibly handle just from working on the south side of ATL. Although most of the construction will be right there in Henry County, you can certainly find work in any and all of the surounding counties as well. Another one of the fastest growing counties connects directly to Henry on it's southeast side, Butts County has recently been "discovered" and is growing by leaps and bounds.
Would you have any suggestions for me about the Miami area though? Del Ray Beach imparticular. I have been offered a job there paying only 50K a year and I'm worried that such pay would be insuffiencent for the area. I have other job offers to consider but part of me has always wanted to live down there.
Thanks and best of wishes to your family

Thank you so much for your recommendation. We are leaving because everything is so expensive. To rent or own. The laws have changed and now taxes are based on the amount the property is sold for. The insurance mine was 3200.00 now its $7000.00 quite a huge jump. And I am grandfathered in to my taxes because I bought my home 10 years ago. I make $48 ayear and its not enough the utility bills are outrageous. Its a beautiful state because of the beaches and a great nightlife in Miami Del Ray maybe a little more quiet but just the same taxes and insurance is throughout florida. Good luck

Pickleswanson,
My daughter and one of my best friends live in Delray Beach. They both really like it there, except it is growing very quickly.
$50K would be enough to live on if you did not have a large mortgage.
Little Dean is correct in stating that the property taxes and insurance are high. There are several proposals right now that could lower both of them somewhat.
You can go to the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser site to get an idea of what property taxes would be.
The housing market has really slowed there now, so you could probably get a better deal on a home than you could have a few years ago.
Let me know if you would like more info about it.
