Looking for a Short-Term Roommate in or Near Albany, GA (extended stay, apartment complexes)

I'm relocating to the Albany area to start my new job on the 15th. I have a family here in AL that won't be coming with me right away, so I need to be splitting my paycheck and sending a good portion of it back to AL. Does anyone know where there's a small room to rent or knows of someone who is looking for a roommate for a few weeks (2 months max) or needs a house-sitter over the summer while I work up some cash and scope out the area? Thanks!

Hmm.. You might have some luck with maybe a college student from ASU or Darton, there seems to always be students looking for roommates. I can recommend a few apartment complexes rent would be around 490-520 a month for a 1bed 1 bath apartment.

That small amount of time, you might want to try an extended stay hotel, as long as you can find one thats not loaded with crackheads.

Dart03, yes, the family will be coming, but I've been out of work since November, so we have to work up enough cash to move them. For now they'll be staying AL. If you can recommend anything, please PM me. I'm up for racking with a college student, as long as he realizes this old man needs some sleep at night..lol..
ne georgia, I looked at that, but the prices were unbelievable, and you need a credit card (and those are something that was cut up to help keep us from getting into trouble).
