It's between Hampton and Jonesboro just off US 41 (Tara Blvd) on the Clayton/Henry county line.
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...te=ga&zipcode=
It's about a 35-40 minute drive to downtown Atlanta with no traffic.

You can use mapquest.com to see where any Georgia towns are located. What size town are you looking for and will you still be starting your own business or looking for work?

Maybe consider Blue Ridge. VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL area, your in the mountains. I believe they get snow, 4 seasons. Although you're a little further out, but the area is booming, so they have most of the typical amenities or will soon.
The mountains, north/NE GA is really the only place you'll find snow and the seasonal changes on a consistant basis.
Somebody else mentioned Dahlonega. That is a very beautiful area also. Forsyth is ideal for raising a family, but probably won't get as much snow or remoteness as you will going further up into the foothills/mountains.

Lovejoy is south in Clayton county. Less likely you will see any snow there. Just my personal opinion, I would avoid Clayton like the plague. The crime there has been spiraling out of control for years. And it only seems to get more bold and outrageous. A few weeks ago 3 guys busted in some guys house in the middle of the daytime, ordered his small children on the floor then killed the guy. This is almost a weekly occurance in Clayton.
