Default Info on Bremen City

I'm interested in knowing any information that anyone has to share on Bremen City. I'd like to know about demographics, home prices, crime rates and most importantly the schools or anything anyone would like to share.

Thanks so much!
Michelle

cool_mommy, my grandparents lived in Bremen and I used to visit them a lot. Bremen is a small country town that used to be known for its clothing manufacturing. Since my grandparents passed away years ago, I don’t go there much anymore. So I am not really current on what’s happening in Bremen, although I did go there last year.

But since you are from Connecticut, I would think that another town would probably be more suitable for you. Have you considered Houston County, say between Warner Robins and Perry? I think you might be a good fit for this area. The Houston County schools are some of the best in Georgia.

Default thanks

Thanks Blue Eagle. I will definately look into Houston county. I'm a little curious though. You had mentioned that another town might be better for us since we are from Connecticut. I have had concerns about my family being accepted in our new town. I would hate to be thought of as "those yankees". Is this one of the reasons why you suggest looking at other towns as a better fit?

Thanks again for the info!

I will try explaining in reverse terms. Say someone was moving from Georgia to Connecticut and asked me about Waterbury or New Britain. I would tell them that Windsor or Rocky Hill might be a better match for someone from Georgia.

I know the amenities that you are used to in Connecticut. I have my doubts that Bremen would be the best match for you.
