Have you got a job lined up? There's no place in GA that I'd consider moving to at the moment unless you either have a job offer already, or have 6+ months of living expenses saved up.

I agree that you should have a job lined up, although it will be easier to find a job the bigger the city. Savannah is great, I love it there. There are a large number of neat, artsy people your age because of Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) and a lot of good concerts, restaurants, etc. The beaches are pretty and you're also fairly close to Florida, which is really exciting for me.
Another place you may dig is Athens, which is another college town. It is pretty and neat there but I really prefer Savannah. Athens would be closer to mountains though, if you like that kind of thing, and they also have great concerts, restaurants, etc. They are VERY into their football and there is a great live music scene.

Default looking to move to Georgia

I would agree...Georgia is a hard place...I am currently from the Washington, DC area...and it is no place like home...jobs are very plentiful in that area...I am in middle georgia which is one of the worsiest places to come and live...I am about 1 hour south of Macon in a town called Dublin, Georgia and I am 2 hours from Savannah...it is slow, slow, slow here...seen alot of jobs closing, even Starbuchs shut down here...we only have one now...come on a world wide Coffe Shop..lol

I have a background with the Federal Government, got here and it was horrible...even with my experience and money saved it was a struggle for me and my family...ended up as a plant worker...I went back to school for hair and now Im a licensed Master Cosmetologist here...whateverrrrr still slow because what is going on, alot of the jobs are now shutting down and leaving to go to Tennessee, and go overseas, etc.

The other thing, because Im Black the caucasians are very skeptical about sitting in my chair and I am very, very good at doing anybodies hair, if I must say so myself, I have some great skills..after doing someones hair they are very very please and realized, dahhhhhh what was I thinkin, hair is hair...Then you got the african americans tripping cause the white folks are in their salons...(man when will this ever end) anyway...if I had clients they would leave because Im doing white hair, or vice versa...

anyway...don't do it...I live about 3 hours from Atlanta...didn't like that either...to me Atlanta is okay but it is not really city enough for me...and what I mean by that...job oppty's are still not as good as what Im use to...Hope this helps
