Out of Savannah, Augusta, and Columbus.. which city has the best riverfront?? If your choice is not listed.. tell us what it is.

of the cities mentioned, I'd say savannah is #1. Augusta and Columbus are a tie.

I am interested at how the riverfont looks in some of the smaller cities that are along nice rivers that may not be so popularly known.

I'd go with Augusta. While Savannah does have riverstreet, the city hasn't invested in making the public enjoy or connect with the river, unlike in Augusta where they've made a park beside the river.

With Columbus, Phoenix City, Alabama tends to have the best riverfront.

#1 Savannah.. by a BIG margin
#2 Augusta with Columbus only slightly behind

Of the cities listed, Savannah. Of those not, even though it's technically not in Georgia, I'd pick Chattanooga. Even though it's in Tennessee, I'm not going to be picky about the fact it's only 1 mile or less over the border, and wins out with the Aquarium, docks, etc.
