Ladybook is on a distinguished road
Smile Want to move to the mountains!

I've lived in the Atlanta area for approximately 28 years (originally from upstate NY). I've fallen in love with the North Georgia mountains because the area reminds me so much of upstate NY, minus the harsh winters. My husband and I have just built a house in The Georgian Highlands, which is a natural, mountain development -- no golf courses, tennis courts, etc. -- just beautiful mother nature with her waterfalls, trees, mountains and streams!

My difficult situation is wanting to move up there permanently and find employment to match or come close to my salary in Atlanta. (Mission Impossible???) For the last 8 years, I've worked for the Lane Company, which is a full-service real estate development, construction, property management and brokerage (condo sales) organization. I've worked in the corporate office in a variety of positions. I received my brokers license last year, but my actual real estate sales experience has been somewhat limited due to the fact that my full-time position has been and is in the corporate 45-hour work environment. I would welcome any opportunity to work for a developer, builder or as a managing broker that would enable me to move to Jasper full-time. The targeted and ideal move time would be at the end of the summer. However, if an opportunity should arise that is just too good to ignore, that time could be adjusted!

Any suggestions, referrals? I will be more than happy to provide my resume and references!
