Default Kennesaw or Tucker or maybe Douglasville?

I may be taking a job in SE Atlanta (1.5 mi. east of 75 exit 244). Spent a couple of hours driving around Kennesaw and liked it ok, but not too interested in the newer communities. Some of the older neighborhoods looked promising and affordable. Someone suggested Tucker and Douglasville as well. Good middle/high schools a must, followed by cost of living and commute are important. Is the commute unbearable from Kennesaw? I have to be in SE Atlanta by 7:30 each AM and would be going back at 4 PM. Thanks.

The closer the better. The traffic is tough. 4 pm would be a nightmare.
