Default moving to area/need advice
Hello
I am relocating to Georgia within a month. I will be working in Marietta, I know nothing of the area. I have found some homes in the Woodstock area. Please if anyone has any advice about neighborhoods I would really appreciate it. I am a 40, single and want to be in a safe place where I can jog, ride bikes etc. Really looking forward to hearing from all of you...thanks

Take a look in the Town Lake area. Its Woodstocks first and maybe only PUD. Also, its close to I-575. Just prepare yourself for heavy rush hour traffic. BTW I moved to Woodstock in 1979 just before I-575 opened. I may be the first person to drive on I-575. One day I drove around the Barricade and took a nice quite drive. I still remember the oldtimmers scratching their heads wondering why they would build a interstate to no where.
