I am TIRED of the racists in this state! (Villa Rica: hotel, house)

I came to visit my family in Villa Rica. I went to the Piggly Wiggly a couple of minute away and the cashier called me a n***** like it was nothing.

I am very offended by the people in this state. I am from Massachusetts and we do NOT tolerate racism of any kind like they do down here. It's like a way of life down here. And Southerners get mad when we decent people up North talk about how racist they are, because they do act that way. Or at least the people I have encountered in this terrible town.

My car was spray-painted with crude KKK symbols and racist words, my families house was TPed, my tires have been flattened on purpose (I've seen the little bad kids do this on my own. It wasn't a nail or something that I hit while driving down here) a man let his dog attack me and say "Get that n*****, boy!" The church is unbelivable. I guess it was what you would call a "White church" everyone pointed us out and called us the N word. I am scared of living here. These people are not true Christains at all.

I am offended. I am disgusted. And I am scared. I cannot wait until my visit here is over with. I do not see how my family can live in a place like this. This isn't the civil war days, I see tacky confederate flags on the homes near here, which really scares me. Is everyone that racist down here?

The N word is used like it means nothing here. Who has taught them this vile behavior? Anyone else experience this?

Umm, IF....IF..(which I doubt) this is true, then I'm very sorry for you. However, I must say that I've been in and out of rural towns all throughout Georgia and Alabama, and have lived in either Georgia or Alabama all my life, and have never even HEARD a white person say that word.

Are there racist here, sure, but there are racists everywhere.

I personally dont want to hear that uppity "I am from Massachusetts and we dont tolerate racism" crap, because Boston has a rep. for being racist itself. Plenty areas up north have racist reps as well, which just goes back to my point that you can find them everywhere.

The police have done NOTHING. They are only out to arrest blacks. They made it sound like it was MY fault. I was just taking a short walk.

As a matter of fact, at the time I first moved to North Alabama, I spent the night at a hotel in Cullman, Alabama. After being in Huntsville for awhile, I heard plenty of stories about how Cullman was some racist, kkk stronghold. I was unaware at the time that I stayed there, but I experienced 0 problems at all.

So again, IF this happened to you, I'm sorry....but please lose the tone like this happened just because you were in the south and things like that dont happen up north at all. That's non-sense.
