The new mall will feature a planned 66 stores 25 which will be new to Middle Georgia and half of the planned stores already have a leased with Macon Mall. Macon will be getting another Dick's Sporting Goods, and Circuit city on Eisenhower will relocate to the shopping center. There building another Champs, Dillards, Belk, Footlocker, Lady Footlocker, Aeropostale, GAP, Old Navy and Starbucks, these are only a few names.

The current Circuit City property on Eisenhower, along with fromer Kroger, and Toys R' US was bought by Central Georgia Technical College. Circuit City will be the last to move from this piece of land.

Hi everyone- I'm new to the Macon/WR area.

Any pizza shops to recommend? Or should I wait until I travel to Atlanta for that?

It's hit and miss. Ingleside Village Pizza is good. Thick dough. Paste like sauce. 2nd Street Pizza downtown is run by the same person.

Johnny's up on Zebulon is good also. Thin NYC style.

Giuseppe's is new on Tom Hill. Not too impressed. I expected better.

My all time favorite place for pizza is DePalma's on Defoors Ferry and Collier in Atlanta.

Welcome to Macon and Middle Georgia!

[I personally suggest the Stevi B's Pizza Buffet in North Macon [there is also a location in Warner Robins]

Also Allen's stone Baked Pizza is great too!

There are plenty more pizza places.

Please tell us more about the mayor of Macon. The millions of city funds that are rumored to be missing. The story about him achieving citizenship other than American for the purpose of being untouchable by the Feds who have been on his tail for the crimes commited. Also, tell us about the brand new trash trucks that were bought with Macon tax payers $$ that have magically vanished and the story about his new "trash collection" business he has just opened in another country which may have been funded by the missing $$ and trucks. We have our own corruption here but I have to admit when compared to Macon all of our city government officials conbined can't hold a candle next to the the mayor of Macons scamming skills.

Albennian, Our is such an idiot.

There is too many problems with him to name.

Do you know what the main thing he is working on now is?
- Changing the city flag.

HE SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF OUR FINANCIAL PROBLEMS WHICH HE MESSED UP!

I'm sure there are nice people there, but I met only a very few normal people - most of them were the strangest group I've ever known. I met ALOT who spent time in the local mental hospitals. One lady seemed perfectly normal until we found out she had threatened her family with a meat cleaver! That landed her in the mental ward. Even our pastor spent time in the mental ward!!

My husband was directing a choral ensemble and asked them to fill out a questionnaire which asked "Do you read music?" The entire men's section answered yes. He was very excited...until he found out - None of them read music - they thought he meant "Can you read ENGLISH?!!?!"

In the church I attended, few if any of the high school girls managed to graduate before they got pregnant - and these were girls from christian homes! It was an epidemic - and evidently they didn't know about birth control much less abstinence!

It was one of the hottest places ever during the summer - the air seemed suffocating and no breeze to help cool things off. There was NOTHING to do there. I realize it's better now, but at the time there were a few fast food restaurants and Poor Folks. The people who worked at the drive through at the fast food restaurants NEVER - not even one time in 3 years, EVER got my order right. I promise - I am not exaggerating.

The one thing I did enjoy was the history of Macon.

My intention is not to offend any of the good people who live there, I know there must be some - Perhaps it was just my circle at the time - but just remembering the place gives me the shivers.
I was stationed at Robins AFB from '01-'05, and I must say...Warner Robins is still an absolutely awful place to live. The base is what has made it a city, and it is ridiculously overcrowded. Russell Parkway and Watson Blvd are always congested and completely covered with lame restaurants and pawn shops. Everyone I know who lived there or still lives there, cannot stand it. I wish I didn't have to be so blunt, but it really is a place like I've never before seen. GO DAWGS
