Milledgeville Ga is a beautiful city and one with lots of history. At one time the state of Ga. had it's state funded mental hospital (institution) located there and the mere mention of Milledgeville was associated with Crazy, Retards, Unfit, and many other mental disorders not understood at the time.
In reality that part of Ga. is what southern life is all about, gorgeous landscape, pristine lakes and people looking after each other. Schools are good, people are nice, life is slow and a great place to raise a family.
