Yes, you are right about the racial makeup in Seattle. However, people here, of all races, could care less who is with who. When I was visiting SC, I saw ONE interracial (b/w) couple. ONE. I also saw one instance where ONE black man was sitting at a restaurant table full of white people. Here in Seattle you see everyone with everyone and no one cares. No one give you a second look if you are in mixed company (whether that be black/white, white/asian, hispanic/black, man/man, woman.woman or any other combination you can think of).

People are people and I wish folks would stop trying to segregate and learn how embrace our differences...

Didn't you previously state that you hate living in the Pacific Northwest because of its lack of "diversity" (aka: too many whiteys)? Now, in another post, you're lifting up the place?

As I've stated, a few minorities, relatively speaking, isn't seen as a threat, so people aren't up in arms about diversity. Furthermore, the few non-whites living in a largely white area aren't what is typical of that non-white group. Often they are generally of a higher IQ, less violent, more civilized and a better neighbor. This only reinforces the belief amongst multicultists that diversity works, but in general, they really don't have enough exposure to "true diversity" to speak the truth of the situation.

Furthermore, the predominate non-white demographic in Seattle and vicinity is East Asian, a group which I've mentioned is of high intelligence, less prone to crime, and is more civil. Add to the fact that the percentage of Asians in Seattle doesn't compare to the percentage of blacks in Atlanta, or Mestizos in L.A., both of which are of lower average IQ and are more prone to crime, and you've got a situation whereby Seattlites are simply ignorant to the true exposure of a truly diverse society.

I'm aware that the west coast is keen on race mixing, particularly with whites and East Asians, but besides the West Coast, there really isn't any other area of the country where interracial dating, etc. is of as high a percentage. In most places of the country, it's only about 2% of all couples, whereas on the West Coast, it can be as high as 7%, even over 10% in a few isolated locales.

Why would you look at interracial couples as something to be proud of, as a high standard of unity? Do you wish for whites' recessive genes to be washed out, or for true diversity world-wide to be washed out into one brown mass? What a boring future that would be.

So, let me get this straight...because you didn't SEE many interracial couples and you only saw one mixed-race table in the restaurant - the entire South is segregated? That's a big stretch.

What I'm wondering is...why were you going around looking for these things? I thought race wasn't important to you and you don't even care - yet you're "counting" interracial couples. When I was in Seattle, I truly didn't notice who was what color...so it sounds like I've just identified the problem.

We've lived in a racially integrated society in the South for many years now. Stop your preaching and learn something.

If you don't like integration, then why don't you guys create, with all of those innovation skills, an island so you can marvel amongst yourselves? There's many types of intelligence. But, there's more facets to the human brain than i.q. which determines wisdom. Anyone can learn facts, but depending on mental status, perception, personality, ego, emotional stability, judgment, environment, opportunity, and how one can survive their environment without destroying it, depends on many different factors.

Your synopsis of race, mixed races, and "abilities" is absolutely ludicrous! There's only one kind of mentality that talks that way. But, i think i'll choose not to clue you in.

Ok this is rediculous, i post on here about finding a predominatly white town and see what happens.

Let me tell you something, race is a big deal. Im not racist i base my criteria on facts. 79.79% of America is Caucasion (white). Thats almost 80% So the makeup of the other 20% is black, hispanic, etc....

Now why is that if there are SO MANY whites, that of the prison population only 33.44 are white, and 40.21% are black. Im have nothing against black peoiple my neighbors now are black and we get together often and have a great time.

The fact of the matter is this, in general the black population is "More Likely" to commit crimes. Therefor, if i want to live in a white neighborhood where the likelyhood of crime is lower, than thats my choice all i asked is if there were any in Southern Georgia.

The only Crime "statistically" done by whites are white collar crimes, extorsions, bribes, embezzlement. I have a Associates degree in Criminal Justice, i have gone to school for two years after high school to learn about the subject, i just wanted advice not a fight.

Honestly i would rather someone rob me by embezzlement, than to be robbed at gun point.

I think you know the answer to your question...black Americans have only had guaranteed civil rights for about 50 years - or one generation. So, prior to that they really had very limited economic and educational opportunities. White people have had the advantage of those opportunities for MANY years. Does that help?
