Any pre-dominate white cities in south georgia?
Question? Something under 10,000 people?

With maybe the exception of Albany I think all of them are predominately white.

Depends on what exactly is your definition of "pre-dominant" is.
Pre-dominant simply means majority. If you want to talk towns and counties in south georgia that are over 50% white then plenty are.
Though alot of these towns and counties might be something like 55% white/45% black.....60% white/40% black.....65% white/35% black, and even they would probably be right next to majority black towns.
Asking a question like this tells me even those percentages are not "white" enough for you though.
I think what you're looking for is North Georgia.
However, for south georgia standards, a place like brantley county might be as white as you can find

94% White
Berrien County is 84%

lol heck no.... south georgia has more towns and counties with higher minority (black) population percentages than any other part of georgia.
Moultrie, Quitman, Dawson, Folkston, Cairo, Camila, Waycross and even Valdosta just to name a few towns that are majority minority (black) in south ga.
and then, for the most part, the ones that aren't majority black.......they are only like...like 55%-65% white
I doubt most of the places down there are what this poster is looking for, because even the pre-dominantly white places are still almost equally minority.

I am quite sure you will not find the less than two percent black population you have in North Canton ANYWHERE in south Georgia.

the majority of many south georgia towns is black; however most of the counties have a white majority, although slim.

Leesburg has 2,633 according to the 2000 census (61% white to 36% black). Its about 10 miles north of Albany, and I would say Leesburg and Lee County would be one of the more larger white cities/counties in South Georgia. The entire peopulation of Lee County (according to 2000 census) is 24,757 and it is 82% white 15% black.

If you are looking for an area 90% white, you need to look at North Georgia, like Lumpkin County which is 94% white. You are going to have a really hard time finding an area that is 90% white in the South Georgia.
