Default Summer in the mountains

Question. . In the summer in the mountains in North Ga. does it get very hot and humid? Does it cool off at night with cool mountain air? And is it hotter in say Ellijay and Blue Ridge as opposed to the Clayton area?
I can take hot but I hate humidity, and if it cools off at night it makes a big difference. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Default I live in the mountains

and like the post before me said, it's always at least 10 degrees cooler in the mountains than in Atlanta. It can get hot during the day, but not so hot that you sweat and at night it cools down and it's perfect. Couldn't ask for a better climate.
