Smile Moving to Fayetteville.........

I would like to know what to expect, like is there any shopping and eating places around, what areas to look for nice affordable housing, what areas (cities, towns, etc) are close by so that I know where to apply for jobs at (within 30-35 minutes) and what are some good places in between ATL and Fayetteville with nice affordable housing. My husband will be working in Fayetteville and looks like I may have to find work in ATL but not sure yet, please help me out. Thanks!

No shortage of shopping and places to eat in metro Atlanta.

From Google:

Map of Fayetteville area>>>

It looks like--Stockbridge, Riverdale, Forest Park and Hampton are in this area.

Click 'Search' at the top of the page and it will find relevant threads--previous discussions of these areas.

You can use the data bank in the city-data forums--enter name of the city/town and read the FYI.

Posters will be able to make better recommendations if you provide a range for housing and any other preferences you may have.

lots of places in Fayettville

They just built "The Avenue" and "Marketplace" in peachtree city which is like 5 miles from Fayettville has pretty much everything you could want like 2 miles of shopping and its just 1 new development. Shopping Eating Entertainment like 2 12 plus theatre's in this strip which are brand new.

Also its not that crowded either.
