Default Lakeland, GA

There is a strong possibility we may move to the Lakeland, GA area.

We are from Massachusetts - moving to Georgia in early July. The town we live in has a population of 2500 and very rural. No traffic lights here...one gas station...

Can anyone tell us what the real estate market is like there? We have done research and see the town really was incoporated in 1925. Mostly online we are seeing new homes -- are they any older homes for sale? We tend to like the character of an older house.

Can someone who lives there give us some insight into the town?

Any help would be appreciated.
