Riverwalk Farm community, Covington GA (Atlanta: crime, buying a house, buying)

Maybe buying a house there, but first I need to know a couple of things;
How are the schools in Covington?
What about the crime rate?
How far from the "big" city Atlanta/Int. Airport?
Are there big box stores and malls in the area?

I have 2 kids with seasonal Asthma; How is live for Asthma-patients in Covington, GA?

Could somebody give me some input about this community?

I just registered today.

Riverwalk is a great area- a bit crowded for me.

I teach public school in Covington and we are building schools and filling them up as fast as we can. AYP numbers are good. I believe all education is available if taken advantage of- the ones who do not succeed have parents that don't get involved! At least that is true of Elementary.
