Can anyone from C-port/912/SAV tell me why?
Although Im sure this is only an issue in the black community, but this is true. My cousin went to Savannah State and said the same thing. Not only that but when I used to visit him down there for the homecoming and other events I saw some of this first hand myself, got into an altercation in the Wet Willies down there and one of the guys I got into with said something along the lines of "f*ck Atlanta" and I remember thinking " I didnt even tell you where I was from". My cousin always said that SAV dudes were jealous of Atlanta and to be honest I agree.

Atlanta takes far more than it gives in terms of state funding. Plus there's a certain amount of arrogance by Atlanta residents that what we want is what's important; the rest of the state doesn't really count.

If you haven't seen it in Macon or Columbus, you just didn't look very hard.

ARE YOU SERIOUS????????????? We Give far more than we take my dude, people in other corners of GA no where near Atlanta benefit from tax revenue generated in Atlanta. Matter of fact, take the economic engine that is Atlanta out of Georgia and this state would be on Alabama, Mississippi status...for real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....lol
