Can anyone tell me about this town and it's neat festival coming up? Would it be worth driving four hours for the weekend?

Honestly?? I would skip it. That's my wifes hometown and I lived several years nearby. Back in the day it was quite fun but the last time we went (granted it's been almost 6 yrs now) it was just......... well I can't say anything nice so I'll shut up

No...thank you, that is exactly what I was hoping for. I noted that the bed race is the week before the festival....sounds like a lot of fun to not be on festival weekend, lol.
