Would you know if Sturgis is going to develop in a certain way or be the same in the next 10 years? How will it affect the value of the houses around the lake Templene? What's the best next town for antiques, fashion and restaurants?

Sturgis is a city of about 11,000 near the Indiana border.

To answer the OP's question, I don't know much about Sturgis, but it appears that it has a lot of major chain restaurants, stores, etc. plus mom and pop shops, so I would imagine residents of Sturgis don't venture outside of Sturgis much for their needs. Battle Creek and South Bend are both 50 minutes away (and that is taking a toll road to South Bend), and Kalamazoo is a hour away, so Sturgis is a bit isolated.

I grew up in Sturgis and the town has really gone down hill in the last 10 years. The town is turning really dumpy looking and I don't see it turning around at all. I still have family there so I end up in the town about once every couple of months.
