Pet groomer near Allendale for extremely timid dog? (Allegan: home, area)

Hi. I tried to do a search on this but my search button isn't working. We are fairly new to the area and need to find a groomer for our 35 lb terrier poodle mix. He is extremely timid in new situations, with separation anxiety. One bad experience will make like miserable for all of us.

We were driving back to our old home to take him to a groomer he was familiar and comfortable with, and she is no longer at that Pet Smart. I liked Pet Smart because the window view would help prevent impatient grromers from venting. We had one really bad experience with a groomer for another dog before this one.

Now that we would have to try a new groomer at the place we were driving to, we might as well try someone closer. Can you recommend a groomer you know who is closer to Allendale. We will drive a ways if necessary.

If you're willing to drive...I've been looking for a groomer and was referred to a lady in Allegan, MI who is supposedly great and affordable. I haven't personally tried her yet. If you want the number, send me a message and I'll gladly share.
