Default "swimming holes" grand rapids

We are looking for some places to cool off this hellish summer. I drove by Briggs park by Plainefeild and there was hardly anyone there, and it has a giant slide. Any other good places in GR to go swimming, and is there a cost to get into these places?

Richmond Park Pool is nice and has a waterslide and diving boards. I think it's $3 for adults and $1 for kids.

Millennium Park has a lake and splash park. Similar pricing.

Not sure if it's of any interest, but Lamar Park in Wyoming also has a "splash pad".

I don't know, it might look a little odd having a couple of 30 year olds waiting in line to play with the water gun...than again blasting kids with that hose might be pretty fun.

Sounds pretty awesome to me! Not sure how the parents would feel, though.

If you go a little north of town, there are county parks with swimming areas at Long Lake, Wabasis Lake, and Myers Lake.
