I am a 20yr old black women......i'm moving to Grand Rapids in January to attend Cornerstone University to major in Music. I will be 21 in Janurary, and I love to go out and have a good time. I also love to hit the mall. You know the girl got to get her shop on. I was wondering if the young people of Grand Rapids could tell me, where I can find a place to have a good time in the night life, where the shopping malls are at and what black churches are in the area.

There are condos-a-plenty, clubs, bars, churches. Cornerstone's not really near anything residential, so you'll probably need a car (unless the bus goes out that way...I've never tried to take it that direction so I don't know). Welcome to GR, it's a fun city. |

Routes & Maps: The Rapid I'd agree that the area around Cornerstone is pretty quiet in the evening, but there's a good movie theater and a BW3 pub in that area. Downtown has the best clubs and restaurants in town Ms J.a.z.y.p Marie. Welcome! Ah to be 21 again. ![]() |
