Default Grand Rapids?????

Is Grand Rapids an ok place to live? My husband and I are looking for a fixer upper because he loves doing this kind of thing. Below are some of the listings our realtor sent. Could someone who knows Grand rapids please tell me what you think of the areas these houses are in. I have several small children so safety is my number one concern.

Blessings,

Jen

Listings: How are these areas???? I have NO idea

Well, I live in/next to Grand Rapids all my life (46 years) and before I answer that genreal question, let me ask you, where do you currently live? is fixing up homes your main income or would you be looking for work in G.R.?
I can give you the basic facts on life here, but maybe its not much different than where your from..possibly??

As for the listings you have? I can't click on them and if I copy and paste the IP address it doesnt find them?

Out of all of those addresses, there is no way in hell I'd be raising my children in any one of those. Each one of those houses are in very nasty areas. I would recommend against living in any of those...

I agree with burgler, keep looking. What is your price range?

Yeah, if you wouldn't mind giving a price range I could do my best to help you find some houses for a pretty good price in pretty decent areas. (I am not a realtor, just looking to help)
